PREPARATION & READINESS

A Required Step Before Requesting an Expedition

Preparation is not optional — it is a required step in determining whether this experience aligns with your mindset, readiness, and respect for indigenous authority and boundaries, including expectations around privacy, documentation, and conduct.

Our programs take place in remote regions of the Peruvian Amazon, alongside indigenous hunters who live fully within the forest. Participation requires physical readiness, mental adaptability, cultural respect, and personal responsibility.

Before requesting an expedition, every participant is expected to review and understand the preparation guidelines outlined below. These pages exist to ensure safety, clarity, and alignment — for you, for the group, and for the indigenous families who host and guide these experiences.

This is not optional reading.

How to Use This Preparation Section

Preparation is not an administrative step — it is part of the expedition itself.

The pages below are designed to give you a clear understanding of what participation involves, how to prepare responsibly, and whether this experience is aligned with your physical condition, expectations, and mindset. Reading them carefully is essential before submitting a request.

This information is provided so that all participants arrive informed, self-aware, and prepared to take responsibility for their presence in the jungle. Nothing here is hidden, minimized, or softened — clarity protects both participants and the indigenous hunters who host and guide these expeditions.
