A Review-Based Entry Process

Participation in Amazon Expeditioners programs is not booked instantly.

Every request is reviewed to ensure alignment with the expedition’s demands, values, and structure. This protects the safety of participants, the integrity of the programs, and the Indigenous hunters who guide them.

Before continuing, please take a brief moment to ensure this process — and the nature of these expeditions — aligns with your expectations and intentions.

Before You Request

These expeditions are not tourism, retreats, or adventure-style survival courses.
They are immersive, Indigenous-led experiences centered on discipline, adaptation, presence, and real subsistence life in the Amazon rainforest.

You should proceed only if you:

Have read the program page(s) in detail
Understand these programs involve discomfort, uncertainty, and limited flexibility
Are prepared to follow Indigenous authority, boundaries, and daily rhythm
Are seeking immersion, not entertainment or a curated experience
Are mentally and physically ready for remote rainforest conditions
Are serious about participating and not casually inquiring

How the Request & Booking Process Works

Amazon Expeditioners uses a structured review process to ensure every participant is aligned with the realities of indigenous-led survival programs.

There are four clear stages, and each stage provides a corresponding document and next step.

STEP 1 — Submit Your Request

No matter how ypu contact us you must summit the form below.

You will be asked a short set of questions about:

Physical condition & outdoor experience
Preferred program and duration
Personal motivation & intentions
Any relevant medical considerations for jungle environments

This begins your alignment review.

STEP 2 — Review & Alignment

Your request is reviewed by Amazon Expeditioners together with Indigenous hunters.

If alignment is confirmed, you will receive:

A formal recommendation for the most appropriate program/duration
Confirmation of availability
Clarification of next steps

This gives you full transparency before any payment is made.

STEP 3 — Reservation & Deposit

Once you choose to proceed:

You receive a secure Stripe payment link
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your seat
If you need a travel partner, we help connect you with someone sharing similar intentions
Once the deposit is received, your reservation is officially confirmed
Permit processing and field logistics begin immediately

Your expedition dates and group composition become locked at this stage.

STEP 4 — Welcome & Orientation Package

After your reservation is confirmed, you will receive your full **Welcome & Orientation
