Enter an intensive training path designed for those who seek not only to experience the jungle—but to become part of it. Under the mentorship of indigenous hunters, you will be challenged physically, mentally, and spiritually as you learn to track, hunt, fish, and build with the forest itself as your guide. This is a process of transformation through endurance, humility, and ancestral wisdom.

Objectives / Highlights

• Amazon Hunter Training

Develop fundamental survival and hunting skills under the direct guidance of Amazonian masters. Learn to track animals, identify edible plants, craft tools, and navigate using only the signs of the forest.

• Deep Jungle Nomadic Expeditions

Journey far beyond inhabited zones into remote hunting territories. Experience full isolation, test your adaptability, and gain a profound understanding of what it means to rely entirely on the jungle for sustenance.

• Cultural Connection and Ancestral Apprenticeship

Absorb the discipline, silence, and intuition of true hunters. Each task—fire-making, fishing, stalking, or setting traps—is practiced through repetition and reflection, forging a direct connection between body, mind, and nature.

• Optional Indigenous Medicine

Access authentic Amazonian healing ceremonies guided by shamans or hunters (optional and at additional cost). These experiences can complement your journey of physical and spiritual transformation.

⬜ DAY 0 – MEETING DAY AND JOURNEY TO A RIVERSIDE VILLAGE

Pick up from Hotel and ground transfer to Amazon Expeditioners office
- Final equipment check
- Introductory safety and logistics briefing
- Traditional Amazonian lunch
Ground transfer to the Iquitos river port
Start of river journey on the Amazon River (~200 km)
Arrival at the first disembarkation point
- Welcome by local team members

⬜ DAY 1 – ENTERING THE RAINFOREST

Second stretch of river navigation (~25 km)
Jungle hike through primary rainforest to Base Camp
Welcome breakfast
Introduction to guiding and support team
Orientation on the general expedition schedule (adapted to total duration: 4 to 12 weeks)

⬜ BEFORE NOMADIC DISCONECTION (1–2 WEEKS DURATION)

These two phases will take place during your time at Base Camp, before we begin our immersive isolation Phase. The content and duration will be adjusted based on the total number of weeks available in each scheduled expedition.

🔹PREPARATION PHASE

Earthwork Activities:

Cultivation and harvesting of traditional crops
Processing of wild foods (grains, roots, starches, beverages)
Creation of long-lasting food products for extended expeditions

Ancestral Medicine Workshop:

Mambe – Natural stimulant made from coca leaf and cecropia
Ampiri – Tobacco and salt paste used medicinally and spiritually
Kambo (Sapo) – Natural bio-supplement for cellular detox and balance
Rapé / Nunu / Snuff – Sacred medicines for spiritual and therapeutic use

Native First Aid Workshop (Amazonian Herbalism):
Identification, collection, and preparation of medicinal plants:

Piripiri – Antidote for bites
Curarina – Against venomous stings
Sanango – Fever reducer
Pichirina – Natural disinfectant
Machimango – Fiber for bandaging
Oje – Antiparasitic
Lemongrass – Digestive aid
Many other medicinal plants will be introduced in this program as needed

🔹TRAINING PHASE

Primitive Hunting Weapons and Fishing Tools:

Crafting and practicing with bows, arrows, spears, slingshots, blowguns, fishing hooks, lines, and traps

Modern Hunting Weapons and Tools:

Maintenance and practicing with shoguns, machetes, axes and knives.

Traps, Shelters, and Survival Techniques:

Building functional animal traps.
Building functional natural ground, middle and upper level shelters
Making basic utensils, ropes, and tools
Fire-starting training using friction techniques

Exploration and Orientation Hikes:

Day and night hikes in raw jungle training areas
Land and river navigation techniques
Identification/recognition of fauna and flora (sounds, looks, behaviors)

Accommodation at our Amazon Survival Training Center

Processing and Cooking of Game from Daily Hunting and Fishing Trips:

Field dressing (removing internal organs soon after the kill)
Skinning (removing the hide or feathers)
Butchering (cutting the meat into usable portions)
Cleaning and aging (allowing the meat to tenderize and improve flavor)
Preservation (drying, smoking, and salting)
Traditional Culinary (roasting, grilling, smoking, boiling, or stewing)

⬜ DURING NOMADIC DISCONECTION (STARTING WEEK 2/3 TO WEEK 12)
Deep exploration in jungle areas from sporadically explored to unexplored. The content and duration will be adjusted based on the total number of days available in each scheduled expedition.
