The Yarapa Communal Reserve, it has been formally recognized by INRENA, the National Parks Division of the Peruvian Government. Within this Communal Reserve, the Yarapa River is the main channel of all the exploration of fauna and flora for travelers who wish to visit and explore its ecosystem, located in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest near 3 main rivers, the Ucayali River, the Marañón River and the Amazon River. The area is subject to scientific research, in addition to being a tourist destination; this river is also home to many species of caimans.
