Our EXTREME AMAZON SURVIVAL 14D/13N, It is a trip that will briefly review and evaluate in its first days the existing abilities that each participant has. Without wasting much time the trip will evolve rapidly with the only vision of crossing the complexity of the jungle, crossing that will have to be successfully completed at least on the pre-established days, which will include navigation by water and land of some rivers in the area, and challenging jungle terrains of little exploration, finally arriving at a river mouth that will find an encounter with the Amazon river, considered the rescue point.
IMPORTANT TIPS ABOUT YOUR EXPEDITION:
BOOKING IN ADVANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (for collection of personal information, government access permits to protected areas, transportation arrangements, exploration team assignments, English Speaking Guides availability, and all logistics support needed).
Participants need to have sufficient time in Iquitos, in order to successfully execute this training evolution.
AMAZON EXPEDITIONERS will provide the following gear to each participant (jungle boots, machete, rain ponchos, mats, tactical tents) 5 kilos approx.
Explorations through the jungle during this evolution, will require for each participant to carry their own personal gear and, to maximize your experience be at the least in a decent physical condition to accomplish each available activity.
Weather conditions will not be an obstacle for the completion of every scheduled survival activity.

⬜ DAY 0
Private transportation from Iquitos Airport to Hotel.
⬜ DAY 1 DEPARTURE
07:00 Transportation pickup from Iquitos hotel or airport in route to Nauta City River Port (1hr 45min)
09:00 Arrival to Nauta City River Port
River Navigation downstream on the Maranon River, and upstream on the Ucayali River in Route to the Survival drop-off location
11:00 Arrival to drop off location
⬜ DAY 2-4 REFRESHMENT PHASE
During these training phase instructors will briefly and meticulously reinforce over several basic and advanced amazonian indigenous survival knowledge, to fully prepare everyone for the upcoming days on the following phase.
⬜ DAY 5-14 ISOLATION PHASE
During the following Isolation Days, participants will only carry a machete in hand and using everything they had learned from the instructors on prior days. At this point, it could be just you or if lucky when larger groups are present, yourself paired up with your buddy to your very own stretch of jungle to survive in. You will be given a series of tasks to complete, in order to survive and make yourself as comfortable as you can. As your land navigation makes progress positively, the instructors will visit the participants with some bush food rewards to keep you going.
⬜ DAY 9
Estimated Arrival to Amancio.
This Particular day will consist of the construction of your personal craft raft to escape from the jungle to be utilized from "DAY 10-14".
Overnight in Amancio right at the riverbanks of the Tahuayo River.
⬜ DAY 10-14
Navigation downstream through the Tamshiyacu-Tahuayo Reserve in search of the Amazon River.
During these 4-5 days river navigation, participants will carry onboard their own food and water supplies smartly collected while in the jungle.
*** The main purpose of this escape navigation will be to find an exit through the Amazon River to be aided by merchant Navigants or by native fishermen bound for the city of Iquitos or nearby.
14:00 Estimated Time of Arrival at the Tamshiyacu Town aided by a small motorboat
Lunch in Tamshiyacu Town
15:00 Speedboat trip back to Iquitos City
During this 1-hour navigation by speedboat, the participants will enjoy a final and pleasant trip crossing the Amazon River
16:00 Arrival to Iquitos City River Port
16:00-17:00 Private transportation back to hotel/airport
