The Amazon Crossing Expedition 3D/2N, is undoubtedly the smaller dose of how much disconnected and how far away you can possibly be from civilization in just a short period of time, this is an express trip for visitors with a tight schedule, maximizing what we can in just a few days, an extensive navigation and crossing of many rivers including the Mighty Amazon River, focused on the exploration of fauna and flora, as well as other jungle activities including; camping, hiking, boating, fishing and more. The 5 rivers  we all get to cross are: Maranon, Ucayali, Yarapa, Tahuayo and the Amazon River at the very end, finally arriving back to Iquitos along a path different from where it initially started.

IMPORTANT TIPS TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR TRIP:

  • BOOKING IN ADVANCED IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (for collection of personal information, government access permits to protected areas, transportation arrangements, assignment of exploration team, English Speaking Guides availability, and all logistics support needed).

  • Participants need to have sufficient time in Iquitos, in order to successfully execute the selected expedition.

  • By choosing to travel with AMAZON EXPEDITIONERS you're booking a PRIVATE TRIP, and since it belongs to you and your group only, we're always open to adjustments as far as the start and ending time of your trip. This way we can make travel easier for your group based on your flight schedule.

  • In case of other travelers wanting to join your group, we'll request your permission first, you’ll have the final decision.

  • For some exploration hikes, participants may and may not be able to leave their personal backpacks behind at our daily designated campsites, so please take into account that in addition to your personal backpacks, you'll be provided with your own exploratory gear (jungle boots, raincoats, mats, and tents) for you to carry and take care of during your entire trip. This is why we always like to advise participants and emphasize them that in order to maximize the experience of your trip, you all have to be somehow in a decent physical condition for some of our long lasting explorations excursions.

  • Remember what plays at your favor! This trip belongs to you and your group only; we will always go at your pace.

  • All activities are subject to change due to weather conditions any time of the year. Main Rivers and tributary levels may vary and thus navigation times and excursions may need to be modified at the guide’s discretion, this will not altered our motivation to make this trip the best as possible.
